The Jigglewatts Burlesque troupe presents a bevy of burlesque beauties who have also modeled within the pages of Bachelor Pad Magazine. This show of multi-talented teasers will be hosted by the one and only “Java,” publisher of Bachelor Pad Magazine.
Jason “Java” Croft, fittingly of Champaign, Illinois, began developing the Bachelor Pad universe in 1999. His love of bodacious pin-up girls, vintage cocktails, tiki culture and… the swanky lifestyle grew into an empire that now includes the print edition of Bachelor Pad Magazine, “the digest of Atomic Age culture”; the syndicated radio program, The Bachelor Pad Radio Show; and countless personal appearances at events around the country. Java lives his life by the three “Bs” – Booze, Babes and Burly-Q. About The Jigglewatts he said, “they are a hundred-thousand watts of pure burlesque power! I pop a fuse every time I’m near them!”
Ruby Joule and Coco Lectric of The Jigglewatts have each had pictorials featured in the magazine, and the rest of the show’s cast has also graced its pages and cover. Continuing to treat Austin to first-class burlesque entertainment, The Jigglewatts are bringing national performers Mimi First of Chicago and Jolee Blon’ of Los Angeles to share the stage. Mimi First, known as “the pocket princess of the Midwest” says she’s looking forward to feeling bigger in Texas. She said, “It was such a personal thrill for me to see my pictures in a [magazine] spread. What I love about this show in particular is that it will bring those pages to life. It will be as though the magazine centerfolds are stepping out onto center stage. What a treat that will be for an audience, and who better to announce us than the man behind the magazine, Java himself!”
This show promises a celebration of swinging, swanky, bachelor pad culture, complete with flowing martinis, smoking jackets and smoldering glances! The cast also features Cardinal Cyn, Ginger Valentine, Pearl Lux, and Jolie Goodnight. A limited number of VIP tickets will be available, with cocktail and reserved seating just feet from the stage:
